Rare 35-70mm f2.8 Vario-Elmarit-R lens. Exact production figures are unknown but as the production was quite expensive Leica didn't make many of these lenses. I found information that they had parts to make a maximum of 300 pieces but that they stopped at 200. This type of lens will definitely be a collectors lens if not already. The lens is in mint - like new condition with no visible signs. No dings or dents. Elements are crystal clear. No haze, fog, scratches or whatsoever. Basically it is in new condition but as the box has been opened I'll rate it as like new. Lens will be sold with original box with matching number, leather case, front and rear lens caps and manual.
